The debate on privacy is an old one. It irritates me when you see the fake messages on facebook that they will make you pay. That you can go into your settings and prevent it. The surveillance is crazy don’t get me wrong but I don’t think it’s quite as 1984ish as people might lead you to believe. On facebook live people stream suicides but we are just so numb to it. All social media copies each other whether it’s FaceBook SnapChat Twitter Tumblr Instagram Pinterest doesn’t matter. There is a big gap between generations because the newer generation learns to use technology more early on. Babysitters get replaced by phones and iPads. The older generation may take a little longer to catch up but that’s why technology is getting simpler and simpler. We all are connected. It’s just like in the movies. Does that mean there will be a Skynet? I highly doubt that at this point. As we keep moving forward though fiction becomes more plausible until it eventually becomes reality. Small slow changes at first that may not be quite what you think. Before you were more or less shaped by your parents but now there are a lot of factors you can be shaped by inspirations such as movie stars. What happens when the parents aren’t there? A place for everything and everything in it’s place does not work anymore. You have your neighborhood but you can’t go back “home”. Education is important but it is our new work because it is so difficult to just grow up.
